Entrepreneurism 101 - You have to love what you...

A great example of this is Gary Vaynerchuk. He was able to turn his families $4 million wine business...
HOW TO: Use Social Media to Create Better Customer... →
Today’s business must address more aspects of the customer experience than ever before. In addition to a stellar product or service, you now have many more channels to listen to and participate in, while keeping the experience consistently excellent. Where it gets complicated is wading through the noise, turning data into insights that the whole company can use, and sharing these insights. Because...

6 social media business trends to watch out for in... →
The most interesting of which is that Social Customer Service will drive revenue in 2011. One could argue that it certainly already is when you look at the impact at Zappos. I like seeing someone come out and say that “pay to play is ok”. The social-sphere has been so focused on “everything for free” that everyone has lost sight of the fact that people need to make a living (get paid) to survive. So check out Gary’s video, pick up a copy of Atlas Shrugged and let me know what YOU think!

Pepsi's Refreshing Refresh
I’ll admit that I have never been a fan of Pepsi as a soft drink. In fact, i’m not much one for soda at all due to the high sugar content. But Pepsi in particular has really caught my attention recently with their Refresh Project campaign. Here is how it works: anyone can submit an idea through www.refresheverything.com. The Word on The Street
We seek opinions and gladly give ours everyday on the things that we all buy, see and do. Some opinions are stronger than others. Some voices are louder than others –but somehow it all comes together neatly to form “the word on the street,” or as I like to call it, “SocialSmack.”
